Ocean Mountains

There is a subtly of light you deploy well. The details of the sea and rock jut out in a soft but definite way. The light overtakes design and seems to rise up out of the water in a soft glow. The tempering of the dark rocks with black and shades of blue give a very water like feel. The adding of an additional rock in right corner brings a sense of perspective.

However, the green along the rocks feel to subdued and the brown is lost to the other colors. It feels washed out, as though the ocean is all barren rock. Which is much improved by the yellowing light of the sun, but not enough to leave one feeling as though the ocean is grim, and the shafts of light its only solace from a world of gloom.

Light the dark parts of the world; that is what this piece says to me.
